Okay, let me tell you.....

I have gotten back into reading again. I found this book called How to Shop for a Husband. Seriously! This is a real book. It details how to find what you want in a guy and where to get him from. I couldn't take it seriously, so I had to move onto the next book.

The next book that I picked up was from one of my favorite comedians, Miranda Hart. I got her autobiography, Is It Just Me. So far, I am loving this book. She talks to the 18-year-old version of herself throughout the book. In the beginning, she talks about times when things just didn't go her way. She talked about her music tastes not going past the 1980s, her love for Dirty Dancing, hobbies that people would find strange.

If you haven't seen her show, Miranda...watch it. The comedy was genius. She wrote every episode. Plus, you got some of the delicious Tom Ellis. You can't say no to that one. She was never afraid of physical comedy. She was quick to fall down on the floor in a ridiculous fashion. She had one song or dance bit in every episode.

Another thing, I am getting into the show Lucifer, speaking of Tom Ellis. I started watching clips on YouTube and I am hooked. The show has this quick wit, intelligence, and just downright funny. But I still love my British shows. I just finished 2 good ones. Delicious(Dawn French version) and You, Me & Them. I needed those laughs. The first show, it was about a professional chef that married twice. Her second wife was a younger woman. Both wives lived in the same town. He has children with both wives. He dies and the show goes on about life after death. The second show is about a man whose has a new girlfriend and his ex-wife(who just won't move on) lives next door. Each episode talks about how an age gap and lifestyle choice affects everyone in the family.

I encourage to get into television shows and books that you would never ever consider before. It has worked me and I have been having such fun. Go on, read a book! I promise it will work out. Fire up that kindle or tablet(nope, not reading anything Apple) and download a free or low-cost book. Get one of Miranda's book if you can. If you have never had an Audible account, here is a link to a free book and 30-day free trial---www.audibletrial.com/solomonster.
